What They Say

Azure Lake by Maelyn Bjork is the story of Catherine and the challenging life and decisions that she needs to go through. Catherine moved away to California once she graduated from college. She then met her husband, had children, and settled down. Soon after they started a successful business, her husband passed away leaving her to deal with the children and with the business. Now, Catherine has been called home by the passing of her mother. But, what she doesn't realize is that once she gets home to Azure Lake she will be faced with people from her past and a choice which could impact her for the rest of her life. Maelyn has done it again with another fantastic read. This one is realistic, yet it offers many twists and turns to keep the reader interested. The characters were fun and believable, and the scenario proposed in the reading feels realistic and challenging. Fans of realistic fiction will enjoy this one.

    The power of family

It is a novel that makes you realize the reality of life and see that the road ahead is not always easy, and on many occasions there are many obstacles that you have to overcome and move forward. Catherine met her husband, they settled down, started a family and created their own business, but unfortunately she suffered his loss soon after, so she had no choice but to move on and take care of the children and the business. Later they are informed of the death of her mother, so they must return to Azure Lake, but once there things will not be easy, as it must face certain issues and very important choices, plus many people from the past ... Life is not simple, and in this reading you will realize many things that perhaps you had never considered, but at the same time will help you to be strong, to grow and always go forward, no matter what happens. Family is something precious, that we must take care of and know that they are always present.

An accumulation of emotions throughout the reading.

Azure Lake is a fictional book on life and the tough obstacles and decisions you have to make along the way. Having family in different parts of the country is tough and especially when a loved one passes away and you have to figure out how to take over the land, house, etc... All this while trying to live your current life. You are left with many tough decisions when other obstacles get in the way. This is a great story about family and it was tough to put down. A very enjoyable book and I recommend it.
